1 c. peach preserves
2 c. applesauce
1 c. butter (2 sticks)
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. baking soda
1 lb. raisins
1/2 lb. walnuts or pecans

Mix together first 6 ingredients. Sift together next 5 ingredients and add to first mixture. Mix well and add raisins and walnuts or pecans. Mix well. Pour in tube pa that has been greased, lined with wax paper. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done. Self rising flour can be used.
