FLORIDA PECAN PIE 
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. light Karo syrup
3 tbsp. butter
3 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped pecans

Bring sugar and Karo syrup to boil. Remove from heat. Add butter, vanilla and salt. Cool slightly. Add eggs; mix well. Stir in pecans. Bake in 9" pie plate for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
