“ROMA BEEF ROLLS” IS IN:

ROMA BEEF ROLLS 
1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1 egg
3/4 cup cracker crumbs
1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
1/4 tsp. garlic powder or 2 cloves garlic, minced
2 (8 oz. ea.) cans tomato sauce with cheese, divided
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning (oregano/basil/parsley)
1 cup Mozzarella cheese, grated
1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Combine everything, except 1 can of tomato sauce and cheeses. Shape into a flat 10x12-inch rectangle on wax or parchment paper or a silicone sheet.

Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over meat mixture. Roll up like a jelly roll. Press ends of roll to seal. Place in shallow baking dish, seam side down.

Bake at 350°F for 1 hour. Drain off fat. Pour remaining tomato sauce on top and add Mozzarella cheese.

Bake 15 minutes longer until cheese melts and is bubbly.

May be cooked ahead and freeze.
