APPLE CRISP 
2 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. oatmeal

Place 1/2 of crumbed mixture in bottom of 9 x 13 greased pan. Slice 6 medium apples over crumbs.

SAUCE:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. boiling water

Place in saucepan and boil until thick. Pour the sauce over apples, add the rest of the crumbs. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes.
