4 med. to sm. sweet potatoes
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. orange juice
1/4 c. raisins
1/4 c. butter
3 tbsp. cooking sherry
2 tbsp. walnuts, chopped
1/2 tsp. grated orange peel

Peel and quarter potatoes and cook until tender in boiling water. Arrange in shallow baking dish and sprinkle lightly with salt.

In a saucepan, mix brown sugar, cornstarch, salt. Blend in orange juice, add raisins. Cook and stir over high heat until mixture boils. Add remaining ingredients and pour over potatoes. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Also good without the sugar.
