CALIFORNIA PORK CHOPS 
6 pork chops - 1/2 inch thick
12 slices of bacon
6 slices raw tomato - 1/4 inch thick
6 slices raw onion - 1/4 inch thick
6 carrots
6 potatoes

Make a cross with 2 pieces of raw bacon, place raw pork chop on top. Then 1 slice onion, 1 slice of tomato. Bring the ends together (of bacon) and secure with toothpick. Place in baking dish with raw carrots and potatoes around the edges. Salt and pepper to taste. May need small amount of water. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serves 6.
