WAFFLES 
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. milk
1/3 c. melted butter (or cooking oil)
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs, whites & yolks beaten separately

Sift the flour, baking powder and salt together. Beat the yolks of the eggs and add the milk to this. Add the flour, baking powder and salt, beating continuously. Add the melted butter (or oil), the beaten egg whites and stir thoroughly. The batter is ready for use. If you like raisins or pecans, add a handful to the batter.
