CHEESE SHORT BREAD 
1/2 lb. grated sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 lb. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. flour
dash dry mustard
dash of cayenne

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Work until smooth. Form in a cylinder, one inch in diameter. Wrap in foil. Chill over night. Slice like refrigerator cookies into 1/4 inch thick slices. Bake 15 to 20 minutes.

P.S. These freeze well. Just heat in oven before serving. P.S.S. Biscuits can be served as an appetizer or with baked ham.
