MARGARET'S SHORT BREAD | |
2 sticks butter, softened 1 1/2 c. flour 7/8 c. cornstarch Scant 3/4 c. confectioners' sugar Mix dry ingredients with butter until like bread crumbs. Then knead together until well mixed. Spread in a 9x13 pan - dough is stiff. Cut into desired pieces. Prick the top of each piece with a fork. Bake about 1 hour at 300 degrees. Will make 48 small pieces. |
