BENNIE'S WINE CAKE 
Servings: 8.

1 box Betty Crocker butter pecan cake mix
1 pkg. (3 oz.) instant vanilla pudding
4 eggs
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. cold water
1/2 c. white wine
1/2 c. chopped nuts

TOPPING:

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. white wine

Combine 1 box butter pecan cake mix, 1 package vanilla pudding, 4 eggs, 1/2 cup vegetable oil, 1/2 cup cold water, and 1/2 cup white wine. Beat at high speed 2 minutes. Pour into 2 (8 x 8 inch) aluminum pans. Sprinkle 1/2 cup chopped nuts on top. Bake at 325 or 350 degrees until done. (Check with toothpick.)
