SUGAR AND VINEGAR BEANS 
5 qts. green beans
5 tsp. salt
1 c. distilled vinegar
1 c. sugar
6 pts. water

Mix salt, sugar, vinegar and water together real hot and then put beans in. Bring to a boil. Boil for 30 minutes or until beans change color. Pack in jars and cover with hot liquid and seal.
