MARINARA SAUCE 
2 (16 oz.) cans Muir Glen organic tomato puree
1 sm. onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, chopped
3 c. sliced mushrooms
1/2 c. fresh basil leaves, sliced
2 tbsp. olive oil

Saute onion, garlic and mushrooms in olive oil until soft. Add tomato puree and simmer for 1/2 hour. Add fresh basil, simmer until ready to serve.
