RUSSIAN TEA CAKES 
2 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. butter
4 tbsp. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream together sugar, butter and vanilla. Add nuts and mix well. Gradually adding flour, mix until firm. Roll into nickel - sized balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 325 degrees. While still hot, roll in confectioners sugar and set aside to cool. When completely cool, sprinkle with confectioners sugar. Shake gently to remove excess sugar, pop in your mouth and enjoy.
