RUSSIAN TEA CAKES 
3 c. butter
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
6 3/4 c. sifted flour
3/4 tsp. salt
3 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. finely chopped nuts

Mix all ingredients, form into soft 1 inch balls. Bake 14-17 minutes at 400 degrees. While hot, roll in powdered sugar (approximately 1 box). Cool again. Add red and green decorator sprinkles to powdered sugar for Christmas cookies. 12 dozen.
