TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
2 c. flour
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
2 sticks (1/2 lb.) butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water

In bowl, mix flour, salt, sugar and baking soda. Add sour cream and eggs. Mix well. In a saucepan, bring to a boil the butter, cocoa and water. Add boiled mixture to dry ingredients. Mix well. Pour into a greased and floured 15 x 10 x 1 cookie sheet.

Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes. Frost cake while still warm.

Frosting:

1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk

In bowl, mix powdered sugar and pecans. In saucepan, bring to a boil the butter, milk and cocoa. Add boiled mixture to dry ingredients. Beat until smooth. Add vanilla.
