MEATBALL STEW 
1 lb. lean ground beef
3 tbsp. A-1 steak sauce
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. soft bread crumbs
2 tbsp. minced fresh onion
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

STEW:

2 tbsp. oil
2 tbsp. flour
3 bouillon cubes, dissolved in 3 c. water
2 tbsp. A-1 steak sauce
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 bay leaf
4 carrots, cut in 1 inch slices
4 med. potatoes, cut 1/2 inch thick
4 sm. onions, cut in half
1 pkg. peas

Lightly combine meatball ingredients. Form in 24 meatballs. In skillet, brown in oil. Remove meatballs. Reserves 1/2 tablespoon drippings. Add flour. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat, 2 minutes. Add remaining ingredients except peas. Return meatballs to pan. Simmer covered for 25 minutes. Stir in peas; simmer 5-7 minutes.
