MEATBALL VEGETABLE SOUP 
MEATBALLS:

1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. dried bread crumbs
1/4 c. tomato juice
2 tsp. instant minced onion
2 tsp. chili powder
1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 c. shortening

Combine all in large bowl except shortening. Shape into balls and brown in shortening. Cook about 15 minutes.

SOUP:

1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed beef broth
1 (10 3/4 oz.) vegetable soup
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
2 tbsp. minced onion
3/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. shredded carrots
1/3 c. shredded potato
1/3 c. grated zucchini

In large saucepan cook broth, can of vegetable soup, and all vegetables until tender. Simmer until flavor is blended.
