ROGUE VALLEY'S FRUIT SALAD 
Apples, pears, oranges, bananas, grapes, or any other favorite fruit
4 tbsp. water
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Cut up and toss together assorted fruits. Cover with a dressing made by boiling water, sugar and butter. Allow to cool then add 1 tbsp. lemon juice. Toss to coat fruit thoroughly and chill. Serve on lettuce cups.
