SAVORY GREEN BEANS 
3/4 c. water
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen lima beans
1 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen French style green beans
3 shallots or green onions, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. dried savory, crushed
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 sm. red onion, thinly sliced
Salt & pepper

In large saucepan bring water to boiling. Add lima beans. Return to boiling and cook 5 minutes. Add frozen green beans, cook 3 minutes or until crisp tender. Drain. Meanwhile, in medium skillet, cook shallots and garlic in hot oil for 2 minutes. Add savory and cook for 2 minutes more. In serving bowl toss together beans and red onion mixture. Season with salt and pepper. Makes 6 servings. Delicious hot or cold.
