Impossible Green Bean Pie

This is a good tasting, quick and easy, cook for the family meal that we've made for years. Its one of the better ones from a series of "Impossible Pie" Bisquick recipes.

Though this version calls for frozen French beans, some call for regular green beens and its also OK to use canned green beans. We have sometimes had problems with it coming out of the oven a bit runny, though it does firm up some during the post-oven cooling time. Make sure the beans are very well drained. We cut the milk from 1 1/2 to 1 1/4 cups, which helps. It also might be better to cook at 375°F for 40 - 45 minutes, rather than at 400°F for only 30 - 35. The base recipe is a bit salty, particularly if you use canned beans. It's not bad to cut it back to 3/4 teaspoon. We generally let it stand 10 minutes before cutting.
