COMFORT CHILI 
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. ground turkey
1 cup chopped sweet onion (I use Vidalia)
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce (Hunts)
1 (15 oz.) can light red kidney beans
1 (15 oz.) can dark red kidney beans
1 (15 oz.) can cannelloni (white) kidney beans
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup ketchup (Hunts)
1 tbsp. salad oil
5 tbsp. chili powder
1 1/2 tbsp. paprika
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. cumin powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Sauté sweet onion in a skillet then add meat to brown. Brown both the turkey meat and the ground beef together so that it is well mixed. Drain off the grease.

Pour the meat into a Crock-Pot and add all other ingredients, mixing well. Simmer on HIGH for 2 to 3 hours.
