On a salad plate, place one lettuce leaf. Center with 1 slice of pineapple. Put 1/2 banana upright in center of pineapple. Top with sweetened whipped cream to resemble candle wax dripping down the sides of the candle. Top with 1/2 of a cherry for the flame.

This candle is as traditional as black eyed peas in the Schkade branch of the family on New Year's Day.
