HOT ITALIAN BARBECUE 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/4 c. chopped parsley
2 cloves garlic or 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
3/4 tsp. oregano
1 lg. green pepper, chopped
1/3 c. chili sauce
Salt & pepper to taste
1/2 c. cracker crumbs or crushed cereal
1 tsp. fennel seeds, ground or crushed
Garlic powder
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
3/4 tsp. Italian seasoning

Brown beef lightly in heavy pan. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer until vegetables are tender and sauce is a nice consistency. Spoon onto hard rolls or soft buns.
