CANNED PEACHES 
1/2 c. sugar
Peaches, peeled

Put 1/2 cup sugar in each quart jar. Add water to about 2 inches. Stir. When clear, peel peaches. Put in jar. Fill with water to 1/2-inch of top. Seal jars with hot lids. Put in canner. Bring to boil for 5 minutes. Set canner off heat. Let jars cool in water until room temperature. Remove jars and cool.

Can also do pears and apricots.
