BURGER BEEF SOUP 
3 tbsp. butter
1 lb. ground round
1/4 c. minced onion
3 c. tomato juice
1 c. water
2 cans cream of celery soup
2 c. shredded raw carrots
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. marjoram
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. garlic salt

In deep kettle melt butter, add ground meat and brown breaking it into small pieces, as it cools, add onions and cook lightly. Add the 5 seasonings to meat mixture. Combine tomato juice, water and soup; stir until smooth; add to browned meat and onion. Simmer, covered for 15 minutes. Serves 6.

This soup was very good! While I was making it I was following the directions and just as I thought I was done, I realized that I had not added the carrots. There is no where in the instructions that tells you when to add the carrots. Just thought you may like to make the adjustment.
