TEXAS BARBEQUE BEEF ON A BUN 
8 to 10 lbs. of beef brisket, trim fat
1/4 c. liquid smoke, spread on top of meat

Sprinkle with Tex Mix or your favorite seasoning. Place in Brown & Serve Bag (follow bag instructions). Bake 325 degrees 3 hours. Cool completely and refrigerate before slicing quite thin. Pour on barbecue sauce and heat at a low temperature as listed below. Serve on a bun. Suggestions: Can be fixed ahead of time.

BARBEQUE SAUCE:

1 envelope Lipton's onion soup mix
1 c. catsup
1 c. water or beef broth
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Simmer 10 to 15 minutes and pour over brisket. Good on all kinds of meat and chicken.
