SUPPER ON A SLICE 
1 loaf French bread
1 sm. can evaporated milk
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 egg
1/2 c. onion, grated
1 tbsp. mustard
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
Processed cheese slices (for topping)

Mix together milk, ground beef, crumbs and egg, onions and seasonings. Spread on each side of split French bread. Wrap with foil around crust only, leaving top uncovered. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Garnish with cheese slices and return to oven for 5 minutes or until cheese melts. Cut into thick slices.
