8 oz. pkg. brown 'n serve sausage links
1 c. pancake mix
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. milk
1 egg
1/2 c. chopped apple

Brown sausage according to package directions. In mixing bowl, combine pancake mix, milk, spices and egg, mix until batter is smooth. Add apple. Pour into well-greased 10 by 6 by 1 1/2 inch baking dish. Arrange sausages on top. Bake in preheated 450 F oven for 20 minutes. Serve hot with maple syrup. Serves 5.
