HONEY OATMEAL COOKIES 
2 tbsp. butter, room temp.
1 tbsp. oil
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. honey
1 egg
1 tbsp. water
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. quick rolled oats
Fruit, nuts or chocolate bits (opt.)

Grease cookie sheets, set aside. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Blend butter, oil, brown sugar, honey, egg and water thoroughly. In another bowl, mix flour, salt and baking soda; add rolled oats. Stir and blend 2 mixtures together. Add fruits, nuts or chocolate bits (if desired). Drop by teaspoon onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 3 dozen.
