HONEY OATMEAL COOKIES | |
1 1/4 c. sugar 1/2 c. butter 2 eggs 1/3 c. honey 1 2/3 c. all-purpose flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 2 c. quick cooking oats 1 c. raisins 1 c. chopped nuts (if desired) Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream together sugar, honey and butter. Add eggs one at a time. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 to 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until lightly brown (about 8 to 10 minutes). Remove from cookie sheet and cool. Store in tightly covered cookie jar. Makes about 5 dozen cookies. |
