CHEESE DANISH | |
2 pkgs. buttermilk or country biscuits 2 tbsp. butter 1 c. sugar 1 tbsp. cinnamon 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, divided 20 pieces 1/3 c. chopped walnuts or pecans Mix together sugar, cinnamon and nuts and set aside. Melt 3 tablespoons butter in bundt pan. Sprinkle some of sugar, cinnamon mix in bottom of pan. Take biscuits, 1 at a time and flatten in palm of hand. Add 1 piece of cream cheese and flatten again. Place approximately 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, sugar and nut mixture in center of flattened biscuit. Fold biscuit in half and pinch sides. Place in bundt pan, pinched sides up. Do same for remainder, squeezing them into the pan. Cook at 375 degrees for approximately 20 minutes until golden brown. |
