WORLD'S BEST SUGAR COOKIES 
1 c. sugar
1 c. sifted powdered sugar
2 eggs (or substitute)
2 tbsp. butter, melted
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 c. vegetable oil
4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Combine first 6 ingredients. Beat well at medium speed of electric mixer. Add oil, beating well. Combine flour, soda, salt, cream of tartar, stirring well. Gradually add to creamed mixture. Mix well.

Combine sugar and cinnamon. Shape dough in 1-inch balls and roll in sugar mixture. Place balls 3-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Dip flat-bottomed glass in sugar mixture; flatten balls to 1/4-inch thickness. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes. Cool on rack. Yield: 6 dozen.
