1 c. sugar
1 c. water
2 tbsp. red cinnamon hots candy
Whole cloves
6 med. tart apples, cored & pared

Combine sugar, water and cinnamon hots candy in 2 quart utility dish. Cook in microwave oven on Full Power for 3 to 5 minutes, or until cinnamon hots candy is dissolved. Put 3 or 4 whole cloves into each apple. Place apples in cinnamon syrup. Cook in microwave oven, covered, on Full Power for 5 to 7 minutes or until apples are tender. Cool apples in syrup before serving. For salad, stuff with cream cheese and chopped pecans.
