SPINACH DIP 
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen spinach, thawed & well drained
2 c. mayonnaise
2 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, chopped
2 (1 5/8 oz.) pkg. dry vegetable soup mix
2 bunches green onion, sliced

Combine all ingredients and refrigerate several hours. Serve with 2 loaves of sour dough bread, unsliced. Slice the top third of 1 loaf, hollow out (like a bowl). Cube second loaf to be served with dip. Fill the hollow loaf with dip or serve with crackers.
