2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
2 cups sugar
2 cups cooked, mashed pumpkin
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
4 eggs
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Mix together all dry ingredients. Stir in pumpkin, oil and eggs. Add nuts and mix well. Pour into a 9-inch greased, tube pan.

Bake for approximately 1 hour.
