2 lbs. hamburger meat
2 slices bread
1 (8 oz.) bottle French dressing
1 onion, diced
2 eggs
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix all ingredients and form into a loaf. Bake at 300-350 degrees (depending on your oven) for about 2 hours. (Pour excess grease after first hour). Follow icing directions when meat loaf is done.

POTATO ICING:

1 pkg. instant potatoes
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 egg
Mushrooms and pimento slices for garnish

Follow directions on instant potato package but leave out milk. After potatoes are mixed (mixture will be stiff), add mayonnaise and egg to potatoes and mix again. Potatoes will now be creamy like an icing. Cover meat loaf with potatoes. Garnish with mushrooms and pimento slices as desired. Put meat loaf into oven just to lightly brown potatoes. Remove and serve in slices.
