BUBBLE BREAD 
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 1/2 c. warm water
2 tbsp. sugar
4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. oil or melted shortening

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add sugar, flour, salt, melted shortening. Knead with hands until smooth. Let rise until double, 1 1/2 hours. Pinch into balls.

Dip into: 1 c. sugar 2 tbsp. sugar

Stack in a greased bundt or angel food cake pan. Let rise 30 minutes. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Glaze if desired.
