EGG AND BACON BRUNCH CASSEROLE 
1 lb. bacon, fried and crumbled
1 1/2 c. chopped onions
1 1/2 c. mushrooms, fresh or canned
2 c. shredded cheese, sharp or Swiss
8 eggs
1 1/2 to 2 c. light cream
Salt and pepper to taste
1 pkg. frozen broccoli

Butter a 9 x 12 inch casserole dish. Layer first 4 ingredients in order given. Combine eggs, cream and seasonings. Pour over layers in casserole. Thaw broccoli enough to separate, then cut into small pieces and put on top of casserole.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until firm in center when tested with a knife. Allow to stand a few minutes before cutting. Serve in squares with salad and garlic bread.
