ONION SOUP - MICROWAVE 
3 tbsp. butter
2 c. thinly sliced Spanish onions
2 cans consomme
1 can water
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 c. dry white wine

Saute onions in butter about 3 minutes or until they are clear and transparent. Add the rest of ingredients. Microwave about 8 minutes. Serve with grated Gruyere cheese. Top with toast or croutons.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
