PEACH DESSERT 
1 lg. can peach slices
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
6 lady fingers
1 tbsp. plain gelatin
1/4 c. lemon juice
1/2 c. whipping cream
Cherries

Drain peaches, reserving syrup. Crush 1 1/2 cups of peaches with 1/2 cup syrup; add sugar and salt. Heat. Soften gelatin in lemon juice and dissolve in hot peach mixture. Cool until slightly thickened. Fold in whipped cream.

Split lady fingers and line sides of buttered 1-quart mold with them. Spoon peach cream mixture into mold and chill until firm. Unmold and garnish with cherries.
