FREEZER CUCUMBER PICKLES | |
2 qts. unpeeled thinly sliced cucumbers 1 lg. onion, sliced 2 tbsp. salt 1 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. vinegar Sprinkle salt over cucumbers and onion. Let stand 2 hours; stir several times. Drain off water and then add sugar and vinegar to cucumbers. Stir several times for 10 minutes. Place pickles in freezer containers. Place in freezer 2 days before eating. Will keep good for 1 year. |
