REFRIGERATOR CUCUMBER PICKLES 
SYRUP:

4 c. sugar
4 c. vinegar
1/2 level c. salt
1 1/3 tsp. turmeric
1 1/3 tsp. celery seed
1 1/3 tsp. mustard seed

3 or 4 lg. onions
5 or 6 lg. cucumbers

DO NOT HEAT. Mix together cold and stir frequently while slicing cucumbers. Wash and dry large cucumbers. Slice thin. Slice onions. Pour syrup over onions and cucumbers. Keep in refrigerator in large gallon jar. Can be used after 5 days. Add onion and cucumber as needed. Can keep in refrigerator 8 to 10 months.
