3 INGREDIENT FROSTING 
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup milk
3 egg whites
food colouring or extract (optional)

Combine sugar and milk and heat over a pan or use a double boiler. Once a creamy white paste, set aside to cool. Make sure the sugar granules are crushed.

Add the egg whotes, one at a time, and whisk constantly for approx 4-5 minutes. By now the mixture is ready and fluffy. Add any extracts or walnuts etc.

Yield: 9-inch cake or 12 cupcakes
