FREEZER MEATBALLS | |
4 beaten eggs 1 1/2 c. milk 1 c. fine dry bread crumbs 1/2 c. finely chopped onion 1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley or 1 tsp. dry parsley 2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. dried thyme, crushed 1/4 tsp. pepper 3 lbs. ground beef Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl combine eggs, milk, bread crumbs, onion, parsley, salt, thyme and pepper. Add ground beef, mix well. Shape into 60 - 1 1/2 inch meatballs. Place on two 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pans. Bake for 30 minutes. Drain on paper towels. Cool. Wrap into 3 packages of 20 meatballs each. Can be frozen for 6 months. |
