MOM'S BOMB LASAGNA SOUP | |
A great thing about this is you can make tons with just this recipe and if you are feeding yourself, you can freeze and reheat! 1 lb. ground beef 1 (28 oz.) can whole stewed tomatoes (Hunts) 1 (24 oz.) jar pasta sauce (your favorite) 2 cups water 1 pkg. lasagna noodles broken up 1 (16 oz.) bag leaf spinach ricotta cheese In a large pot, brown the beef. Drain the beef and place it back in the pot. Add the stewed tomatoes, pasta sauce, and water. Bring to a boil and add the noodles after you crush them into smaller bite size pieces. Cook for 20 to 30 minutes at high heat (I say this because it cooks faster on a gas range) stirring occasionally. Bring pot to a simmer and add the spinach. Cook for another 15 minutes. Get down your bowls and put a spoonful of ricotta in the center. Dish up some of this awesome food and eat up:) Enjoy! :) Submitted by: Lindsie |
