ITALIAN MEATBALLS 
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 egg
1/4 c. cracker crumbs
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
2 tsp. garlic powder
1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tbsp. dried parsley flakes
1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
1/8 tsp. whole thyme leaves
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Combine all ingredients, except canned tomatoes and last 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, in medium mixing bowl. Shape into twelve 1 1/4 inch meatballs. Arrange meatballs in a round (10 inch diameter) baking dish. MICROWAVE, uncovered at power level HIGH for 3 to 4 minutes, or until meatballs are nearly done, rearranging the meatballs at once. Pour chopped tomatoes over meatballs and sprinkle with 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese. Cover. MICROWAVE at power level HIGH for about 3 minutes, or until heated through. Makes twelve meatballs.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
