SWEET DOUGH FOR ROLLS - COFFEE
CAKE
 
1/2 c. dry instant potatoes
2 c. boiling water
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
3 pkgs. yeast
6 c. flour

Add 2 cups boiling water to instant potatoes. Add salt, sugar and shortening. When cool add the eggs. Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water. Add to potato and egg mixture. Beat together. Beat in 2 cups flour first. Stir in remaining flour. Dough should be stiff, not sticky. Let rise until double. Form into shape and add filling if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes.
