MIXED VEGETABLE CASSEROLE 
1 (20 oz.) pkg. California Blend mixed vegetables
1 can Cheddar cheese soup
1/2 c. milk or water
1 can chestnuts, sliced or 1 can cashews (optional)
Seasoned bread mix or crushed cracker crumbs

Cook vegetables half the time required. Reserve liquid. Add Cheddar cheese soup, milk, chestnuts. Put into greased casserole. Top with seasoned bread mix, drizzle melted butter on top. Bake 350 degrees, 1/2 hour.
