1 c. flour
1 c. water
1/2 c. salt
1 tbsp. oil
1/2 tbsp. cream of tartar

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Over medium high heat, stirring constantly, cook mixture until it forms a ball. Color with food coloring. Store the play dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate.
