FRESH TOMATO SHELLS 
1 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. sliced green onion
2/3 c. fine dry bread crumbs
4 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
4 tbsp. chopped pecans
5 med. tomatoes
1 tbsp. white wine (optional)
Worcestershire sauce

In a 2 cup glass measuring cup microwave butter and onion uncovered on high for 1 minute (or until onion is crisp tender). Add bread crumbs, cheese and pecans. Toss to mix. Then set aside.

Peel tomatoes (if desired) and cut into 1/2 inch slices. In an 8 inch microwave safe pie plate arrange tomato slices in a spiral, overlapping slightly. Sprinkle with wine and Worcestershire sauce. Cover loosely with wax paper. Microwave on high for 2-3 minutes (or until almost heated through, giving plate a 1/2 turn - once). Sprinkle crumb mixture over tomatoes and microwave on high for 30-60 seconds.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
